Dhalia Adwoa Sabeh
Raised in a home where spirituality and religion intertwined, I was nurtured by the harmonious blend of Christianity, Islam, and a deep reverence for nature. My parents embodied the essence of giving, offering their home as a sanctuary for orphaned children, family members, and animals. From my tender years, I shared my life with a diverse array of creatures, from baby cubs to humble domestic pets. My mother, may her soul rest in perfect peace and power, traversed the heart of Africa dedicating herself to preserving the environment and extending a hand to those in need. The philosophy that guided my upbringing was simple yet profound: “Yahweh doesn’t measure your knowledge of Him by what you hold in your mind, but by what you cherish in your heart—the love, compassion, and empathy you extend to those in need.” With an open and pure heart, I embraced this philosophy, believing deeply in the inherent goodness of our world. My journey has taken me from the corners of Ghana, the County of San Francisco, and San Mateo’s Mental Health, Substance Abuse, and Social Services Divisions to over forty countries, where I’ve worked tirelessly to aid the less fortunate. I’ve played a role in paving the way for the return of the Diasporan family to their rightful home and have dedicated many years to education. Yet, the challenges, disappointments, and heartbreaks of my personal life have reshaped my perspective. I’ve chosen to delve deeper into the Word, nurturing myself with love and care in intimate, meaningful ways. These diverse experiences and my rich upbringing culminated in the creation of Nduka Maisha (Life Is Supreme), a haven for healing, preservation, reconnection, and wellness. This sanctuary is a reflection of my profound commitment to physical, mental, and emotional well-being. It is inspired by my journey and a deep connection to nature, standing as a testament to my dedication to fostering growth, healing, and empowerment in the Motherland. Through Nduka Maisha, I invite you to embark on a transformative journey of self-discovery, where the healing power of nature and personal resilience intertwine, guiding you toward a place of peace and profound understanding.
